Our History

Electronic Detection and Surveillance (E.D.S.) was formed in 1981 and soon established itself as a leading designer and installer of CCTV Surveillance Systems.

Over the last 20 years EDS has acquired, and continuously developed, expertise in areas such as perimeter and facility intruder detection and access control and has become a trusted advisor and supplier for all security issues to many Blue Chip names. In 2000 EDS became "Electronic Detection and Security" - a positive change for the business and it's client base.

Since 2000 E.D.S. has pursued turnkey projects in which CCTV surveillance forms a significant part. In doing so the Group has developed many new relationships alongside those it has been proud to have been associated with from the beginning.

Structure

In 2005 E.D.S. reorganised as a group adding further divisions to support the core business. The group dynamic gives clients the opportunity to keep all their security requirements within one company offering a single point of contact and responsibility. Makes sense!


EDS Security Solutions This division handles much of our traditional business providing and installing security equipment across all disciplines.	EDS IP Network Solutions Specialise in providing video and security data over structured cabling and/or the internet.	EDS iVIEW Security Products iVIEW research, develop, manufacture and distribute security products.	EDS iCARE Security Maintenance Install, service and maintain CCTV security and fire systems across leading brands.
